Sand Table Set Up Instructions
When you first plug in your table, after a minute or so the LEDs will flash. It takes several minutes for the computer in the table to initialize. While you're waiting, now is a good time to download the app.

Download the Dune Weaver App Go to your App Store and search for 'Dune Weaver' and download the app. It's free and there are no ads and no nags to purchase anything. |

Switch network on your phone The table broadcasts its own WIFI signal and to get started you need to set your phone to the same network. Look for the 'Duneweaver' network and connect to it. If it asks for a password, it is 'password' (without the quotes) |

Choose how you want to connect with your table You have the choice to have the table connect to your home wifi or to use the Duneweaver hotspot. The main disadvantage to using the hotspot rather than your home wifi is that whenever you want to use your table you will have to switch to the Duneweaver network. If you choose Home Wifi the table will connect to your home wifi and any phone or tablet can control the table without any changes. Any phone or tablet on the home wifi and with the downloaded app can control the table. Using the hotspot If you choose to use the hotspot instead, click "Use Standalone hotspot" and then you're done with the setup. |

Connecting to your home wifi If you chose 'connect to home wifi' you will be presented with a list of local wifi signals that the table can see. The first time out, it can take a while for the list to show up. And sometimes you will get a message 'no networks found'. If you just leave it there, the list will eventually populate.

Main Screen Once your select your network you'll be brought to the Browse Patterns screen. Here you'll see a list of all the pre-installed patterns available to run. Simply select one and you can press PLAY. You'll be asked if you want to have the table cleared first (erased) and you'll be give options as to how you would like the clearing to happen. |
